Episodes

It is in the telling of

and listening to stories

that we learn who we are,

whose we are, what we believe,

and what matters to us.

By orally repeating

the episodic cycles of our existence,

we determine the course

of our minds, our hearts,

our hopes, our lives.

The timbre of our recurring narratives

codes our emotional DNA

and the predilection

of our spiritual journey

just as surely as genetics

constructs us physically.
