Those
multi-syllabic,
churched-up
words:
it's the
unpacking
that
gives meaning;
taking
them off of their pedestal
and
shaping them into images
that can
be lived in
and loved
through,
in both
the mundaneness
and the
extraordinariness
of our
everyday world.
Without
that, they're just
museum
pieces; relics
from a
bygone era
that need
to stay
on the
shelf and off
our pages
and lips.
