It is not
how much
you are
able to get done
that
determines whether
you are
able to observe Sabbath,
but how
much you are willing
to leave
undone;
because
you realize the futility
of dying
every day by the mantra,
"The
hurrier I go, the behinder I get."
Let the
moon cast her spell
on the
curse of your busyness.
Only then
will you be able
to let
Grace wrap and rock you
in the
hammock of Unconditional Love.

Oh, I love the image of grace rocking me in a hammock of unconditional love. So needed. Once I tried to imagine bathing my little son in light...it was a sustaining image...that is how your "hammock" image strikes me. It reminds me of how, once, as a child I would take a cloth napkin and fold it so that two little rolls (babes) in a hammock were created. It is a way of napkin folding that was taught to me by a neighbor friend. This feeling of being "enclosed" or "nestled" is powerful and that is what your image reminds me of...Thanks.
