"I am here."

It is the beginning

of life, of the knowing

and being known of love.

Recognizing and claiming "here";

hungering for nowhere else;

spirit, mind, body centered;

resting in this now.

No "There!", no "Where?";

just the peaceful presence

within this little slice

of time, space.

For once, at least,

let's set aside the worry,

wonder of everywhere else,

and dare to proclaim, "Adsum."
